CASUAL HEALTH CARE AIDE POSITION

The Chinook Lodge in Cardston, Alberta requires a Casual Health Care Aide. The Successful applicant should be available to work shifts on weekday and weekend days . Responsibilities include assistance with medications, bathing, and personal care as outlined in the resident care plans and any other duties assigned by the Resident Care Team Leader or Site Manager.

The successful applicant needs to be:

Dependable, flexible and able to adapt to change in a positive manner.

Team player who promotes a positive team environment.

Enjoys working in a rewarding environment with Seniors.

Has valid Health Care Aide certification from an accredited school.

Is currently a member or eligible to enroll in the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory

Casual Housekeeper Needed – Chinook Lodge- Cardston Alberta

We’re looking for a focused, energetic, and dependable individual to join our team in a casual housekeeping role. Our lodge is home to wonderful seniors who deserve a clean, safe, and welcoming environment—and we’re seeking someone who takes pride in creating that for them.

What we’re looking for:

·         A motivated self‑starter who can stay on task without constant supervision.

·         Someone who is reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards.

·         A positive, energetic presence who can interact respectfully with residents while staying focused on assigned tasks.

·         Strong attention to detail and a willingness to follow established cleaning routines.

·         A team player who communicates clearly and respectfully

What the role includes:

·         General housekeeping duties (sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, laundry, etc.)

·         Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents

·         Supporting the team by stepping in for casual and last-minute call-ins.
